Empowering Youth Through Sport

With Boys & Girls youth divisions from  U 10s to U 19s, there was plenty of excitement, fun & laughter, along with the future of the game, on display.

Beyond the trophies, the tournament served a profound community purpose. All proceeds from the event are being directly channeled to support the Lanna Youth Rugby Program. Working alongside local NGOs like the Kids Ark Foundation, the initiative provides sports equipment, uniforms, and structural youth development pathways for children across Northern Thailand.

“We are completely overwhelmed by the incredible turnout, the elite standard of rugby, and the deep camaraderie displayed by every visiting club this weekend,” said Matt Hirst, Director of Lanna Rugby Club. “This tournament isn’t just about competition; it’s about showcasing Northern Thailand on the regional rugby map and creating sustainable athletic opportunities for our next generation.”
